I currently live in Vermont and enjoy entrepreneurship and philosophy. I believe that no idea is too crazy and within ourselves, everything is possible (I postulate a good bit throughout this site and in my life. Take what resonates with you and leave the rest as ramblings of a mind exploring the world).
My email: hakeemfuadvt@gmail.com. Reach out to me with your point of view on anything you find interesting.
Things I'm involved with and areas of interest:
- The Sanctuary: A creative event that opened up our vision on what was possible and how to create a narrative, a universe, and deliver at a large scale. Going into this, I wanted to be a fashion designer and this was an exercise in that pursuit (go big or go home), following the style of Louis Vuitton, Cristian Dior, New York Fashion Week, etc. with the large scale level of production value. There were many different moving components that have ballooned into a larger vision, paired with acquired hard skills to match. I learned how to host a large scale event, coordinate a large team, and execute a vision.
- The Gala: A continuation on The Sanctuary. An immersive, world-building exercise in marketing. This is ongoing as we didn't conclude this and I plan on integrating this into the launch event for Qloset. This part of the vision brought the team to Miami, New York City, and France in name of capturing content. Can be found on Instagram.
- Samosaman: A family business that my brother, best friend, and I run. Taught me how to visualize the world in a business frame of mind (dollar in, dollar out) and the importance of the transaction. Contrary to business dogma, I've found that business is not about the immediate transaction but instead, the relationship with the customer as a person. This increases the customers lifetime value (amount of money they'll spend with your business). As I'm working with customers, I'm asking myself: On a 5 star scale, how can I make this a 10 star experience for the customer? (Brian Chesky 10 star experience); Scaling up from a 1 star, to a 5 star, to a 10 star; Typically falling in the realm of a 5 and 8, all in the name of exceeding their expectations so that they feel incentivized to close the transaction, recommend your business, and ultimately return.
- Qloset: An AI-Generative shopping experience to give users a real time visual of any garment offered on our platform or through the tool via API, on themselves, effectively bringing the dressing room onto the users device, empowering users and their decisions they make in purchasing. B2B through API usage (on vendors own websites) and vendor onboarding onto the platform; B2C through the Qloset platform. Users and vendors interacting to create a bustling cart environment; It's a win-win. Always create win-wins.
